U18A Continues their tournament success!
WMHA’s U18A team coached by George Voros travelled up to Ajax Ontario for the U18 Winterlude Tournament this past weekend.
The group started strong finishing round robin with a 3-1 record coming out on top over the Kanata Blazers, Newmarket Renegades and Timmins Flyers while losing a close one to the Stittsville Rams. In Semi final action the Spits were again matched up against Stittsville where they got their revenge in a 31 victory setting up what turned out to be a tight matchup against the host Ajax-Pickering Raiders. The final game went the distance into overtime where Ajax scored the winner. The Spits played hard all weekend in securing a silver medal. Well done by all the players and coaches!
