PLAYDOWNS: VS BELLE RIVER AE2 GM5

This game would of sent the Windsor Jr Spitfires to the OMHA finals with a win. Although we had the lead twice in the game in the end the Belle River Canadians proved to be just too strong for us and we fell to them 3-2. It was a hard fought series with some ups and downs but the kids will leave with a ton of experience being that close to a shot at the title.
Our games with Belle River have been the most exciting and tight games we have played all year. Belle River is truly a talented and passionate team who deserves to be where they are now. Congratulations to the Belle River Jr Canadians Novice AE2 and best of luck in finals.
This marks the last time most us will play against this 2006 team. But for some us it's only just the beginning of what is sure to be a rivalry that spills into next season.
Our kids gave it their best and we are truly proud of each and everyone one of them. It was a great run and now we turn our focus to the Bluewater playoffs.
