In the weeks to follow our boys will be playing the most important hockey of their lives to date. A season of hockey has prepared them to compete at the highest level of their division. This season's preparation included countless hours on the ice. Big victories and small victories. Big losses and narrow losses. We have played goliaths, and competed. We have played short handed and scored. We have had the advantage, and been scored upon. Our boys have played healthy and have played while under the weather. Our boys have been frustrated and they have been ecstatic. These atheletes have cried together but almost always laugh together. They have been up big and they have battled back from being behind. We have competed against stronger teams and won. We have also been outmatched.
Through it all they remain a team. A skilled team. An experienced team. A prepared team.
