2025/26 Travel Coach Applications OPEN
The WMHA Travel Committee is now taking coach applications for our travel teams for this coming season

All current coaches and new applicants must apply for the team/teams they wish to be considered for.  All applications will be reviewed by our selection committee, however not all applicants will be interviewed.  Candidates may be asked for practice and season plans prior to interviews.  Interviews will be completed as applications come in

We are looking for committed individuals with high knowledge of the game and an excellent work ethic who will emphasize development, fun and safety for our young athletes and bring success to our players, and our program.  WMHA is focused on player development, which starts with great coaches!  WMHA strives to offer a supportive environment to our coaches including tryout evaluation support and partnerships with local skills instructors!

Non Parent Head Coaches are entitled to an end of year monetary stipend as well as paid mileage, hotel and per diem for out-of-town tournaments.  Stipends may be discussed for some parental candidates

Please share this information with any coaches who fit this description.

We will be taking applications until January 31st, 2025.

Club 240
Founded by the late Jimmy Hogan, inductee into the Windsor-Essex County Sports Hall of Fame in 1999. Club 240 had its beginnings in 1960, when Jimmy’s kids started playing outdoor hockey at Memorial Park. At that time the only league operating indoors was Midget; the outdoor season was limited to only 7 or 8 games, as the city didn’t allow teams to go beyond the league into the Ontario Minor Hockey Association playdowns (OMHA).
