U12A Glancaster Champions
Congratulations to the Windsor Junior Spitfires U12A Hockey Team!

What an incredible weekend for our
12-year-old Windsor Junior Spitfires, who went undefeated to win the Glancaster Bombers Veterans Memorial Tournament Championship!

The boys battled hard through five straight wins, showing unbelievable teamwork, determination, and heart. In the final game, they faced their biggest challenge yet — down 1 goal with less than a minute left on the clock, they refused to quit. With grit and hustle, they tied it up in the final seconds to force overtime.

Then came the moment of magic — Julian Caruana sealed the championship with the overtime winner, completing his hat trick and sending the Spitfires bench into celebration!

Huge credit goes to Kaline Lauzon and Jace Hotham for their outstanding goaltending throughout the tournament, keeping the team in every game and standing tall under pressure.

The entire squad showed amazing sportsmanship and true Windsor pride from start to finish.

๐Ÿ‘ Way to represent, Windsor Junior Spitfires — champions on and off the ice! ๐Ÿ‘

Club 240
Founded by the late Jimmy Hogan, inductee into the Windsor-Essex County Sports Hall of Fame in 1999. Club 240 had its beginnings in 1960, when Jimmyโ€™s kids started playing outdoor hockey at Memorial Park. At that time the only league operating indoors was Midget; the outdoor season was limited to only 7 or 8 games, as the city didnโ€™t allow teams to go beyond the league into the Ontario Minor Hockey Association playdowns (OMHA).
