WMHA's early season tournament success continues!
Our U10A team, Coached by Matt Boroski, and Sponsored by Central Park Athletics, were Finalists in the Halton Hills Best of the Best Tournament this past weekend! The Spits defeated the Kent Cobras 5-4 in the Semi Final to move on to the finals undefeated, and found themselves matched up against the also undefeated Strathroy Rockets. Jace Hotham backstopped the Spitfires to a 0-0 tie to end regulation! With overtime solving nothing, a shootout was necessary where the Spits fell 1-0. Huge shoutout to the Windsor goalies Jaxson and Jace keeping the opposition to a combined 7 goals against over 5 games including one shutout by each young goaltender! These young Spits are just getting started! Keep working and big things are going to happen for this group!
