A message from Coach Scotty:
Hello,
I hope everyone is doing well and staying busy during this little break before tryouts. I know some have been on the ice, playing lacrosse, playing baseball, etc. I just wanted to reach out and remind everyone about the upcoming U12A tryouts and provide any information you may need if you haven’t already registered.
I also just wanted to add a quick message about my excitement for the upcoming tryouts and season. Being involved with Windsor Minor the past 2 years and having the opportunity to coach with some experienced and reputable coaches at 2 different age groups has allowed me to learn and develop more than I knew I could. I am able to take my past experiences and what I’ve learned being on the bench as assistant coach to the next level as head coach. I am not here to reinvent the wheel but more to build on what this age group has built over the last few years. And that is being a team that comes to the rink with focus, drive, a want to improve, hard work and most importantly a fun, relaxed attitude!
I also would like to take the opportunity to introduce a part of my coaching staff for the upcoming season:
Assistant Coach:
Matt Boroski Most know Matt as he has been the head coach and involved with the 2014 age group for many years. His passion and care for the overall success and development of each player is one of the main reasons he will joining me. Our coaching philosophies align and we both have the same goals for the team and players. Matt has been involved with WMHA since he was 7 years old playing AAA for the majority of his career and has since been involved on the coaching side of things for over 10 years.
I hope to see everyone out to this year’s tryouts. If you know of anyone on this email that may not have received it, please feel free to pass it along.
