Safe return to House Major Hockey
Hello Players, families, and volunteers House Major (U13 to U19 formerly Peewee, Bantam and Midget),

We are excited to develop a great hockey program for our house league families. This year due to COVID-19 we will have a staggered start with enhanced safety protocols to make sure that our return to hockey will be safe and fun. We are working with the City of Windsor, Public Health Unit, and our governing bodies (OHF/OMHA) to ensure regulations and guidelines are met.

Following OHF/OMHA guidelines, there will be maximum 10 players per roster, 9 players and a goalie. In addition, teams will be placed into a bubble of maximum of 50 players and cannot cross bubbles. Your child’s coach will be contacting you after September 14 for location and times.

House league will begin with 2 hours of practice the first few weeks, then one 3 on 3 game and one practice per week, and then onto 4 on 4 games and one practice.

  • Peewee players (U13) - Friday and Saturday (1 hour of ice each)
  • Bantam players (U15) - Saturday and Sunday (1 hour of ice each)
  • Midget players (U19) - Mondays only

House league for House Major will start on Friday, September 18, 2020.

Thank you for your patience during these unprecedented times. We are looking forward to seeing everyone back on the ice very soon.

Kind Regards,

Mari Otero-Jones

Club 240
Founded by the late Jimmy Hogan, inductee into the Windsor-Essex County Sports Hall of Fame in 1999. Club 240 had its beginnings in 1960, when Jimmy’s kids started playing outdoor hockey at Memorial Park. At that time the only league operating indoors was Midget; the outdoor season was limited to only 7 or 8 games, as the city didn’t allow teams to go beyond the league into the Ontario Minor Hockey Association playdowns (OMHA).
