WMHA Covid-19 update
Submitted By admin on Wednesday, December 9, 2020
WMHA Families,

With the season on hold, and arenas being closed, we would like to ensure you all that the WMHA board is prepared to resume hockey when it's safe to do so, and we're in a color code that will allow our modified programming. We would first like to thank everyone who helped make these past 13 weeks a huge success. We will do our absolute best to keep you all updated as we get word, please understand, this is an absolute moving target and things will be changing week to week. Here are a couple questions we are receiving and would like to answer.

Is the season cancelled?

No. As of now, we're unable to provide programming under Ontario's Red, or Grey colour designation. The 2020-2021 season is on hold until:

a) we move to orange, yellow, or green by the local health unit and

b) the city safely reopens the arenas, which again will be at orange or higher.

As of now, we're aiming to start as soon as possible, as long as it is safe to do so.

Will there be refunds?

Once we determine how much of the season will be missed, we'll adjust and refund or apply credit accordingly. Please be patient as refunds, if offered, will be at the end of the year. Any refunds or credits will be issued either when and if the season is cancelled, or at the end of the season, whatever one comes first.

The WMHA board is available to answer any further questions. Please send all your inquiries to [email protected]. We hope everyone has a safe holiday season, we're all in this together, and if we all do our part our kids will be back on the ice in no time.
