With spring tryouts complete and U14, U15, U16 and U15BB teams selected we will focus our energy on fall tryouts. All remaining travel teams will have tryouts in September.
Selects – Select teams are important to our hockey development program. WMHA plans on having select teams this season comprised of both major and minor ages, however this is completely dependent on high enrolment for AA and BB tryouts and registration numbers. The purpose of select teams is to bridge the gap between house league and travel, it is not intended to simply offer extra hockey to a small group of house league players. Tryouts/evaluations will likely take place sometime in October. More details to come on the future.
U18 BB – We are planning for and we are hopeful that we can host a U18BB team for 2022-2023, this team will be dependent on interest. It will be comprised of players with birth years 2005, 2006 and 2007. More details to come in the future.
U21 AA - Unfortunately WMHA will not be hosting a U21 AA team for the upcoming season. Players in the birth years 2002, 2003 and 2004 can request ATM forms to tryout for neighbouring centers who may be hosting U21 teams
Windsor minor is excited for the upcoming season, there are great things on the horizon for our Junior Spitfires!
