WMHA Houseleague Select Teams
WHMA is interested in hosting Select Teams at U7, U9, U11, U13, U15 and U18.  Please read on for more information

Please complete the form located HERE if you are interested in trying out for a House league Select team for the 2023/24 Season. Deadline to complete the form will be Friday October 20th at 11:59pm.

We are actively gauging interest in U7 (2017/2018 ONLY) U9 (2016/2015), U11 (2014/2013), U13 (2012/2011), U15 (2010/2009) and U18 (2006/2007/2008) Select teams. Forming these teams will be dependent on the amount of skaters and goaltenders interested in playing, as well as coaches. If there is not enough interest at an age group, the team simply will not be formed.

The Select program is in addition to your regular house league programming and intended to help further develop our players into future travel players. Select teams will have additional practices, games and potentially tournaments in addition to regular house programming.  Players do NOT need to be Windsor residents, but they do need to be registered with WMHA. There will be additional costs for these teams. All costs associated with the team (practice ice, game ice, uniforms, timekeepers, referees, etc.) will be the responsibility of the team. Sponsorship and fundraising options will be available.

Select teams will be under the travel umbrella and subject to the travel guidelines HERE.

Select teams will be eligible to schedule exhibition games against other Select teams in the area as well as Select tournaments and schedule their own practices.

Tryouts will be posted in the coming weeks

If you are interested in coaching one of these teams, please complete the from HERE. Please note, candidates are already identified at some ages
