END OF REGULAR SEASON
WMHA NOVICE AE
Regular season is in the books. With an outstanding finish to the season going 7-1-2 in the final 10 games the Windsor Jr. Spitfires finished in 2nd place in the Bluewater league. Only 1 single point below the Tecumseh Eagles. We congratulate the Eagles on a job well done!
Our season series with the Eagles was 0-1-2 with a loss to them decided by 1 goal. If things just went slightly different it could of been the other way.
But we don't care about what could of been, we care about how it is! The kids had an extremely great season. We played in 4 tournaments going all the way to the finals in 2 of them, no other Novice AE team in Bluewater did that. We had 16 wins which no other team has more. We had 4 loses which is second best. We scored 133 goals which will stand as the most out of all the teams. Most importantly we had the fewest goals against out of all the teams at 40.
Pretty good I would say.
We now enter playdowns for the top prize in minor hockey. A schedule will be posted in the coming days so please check the website.
