Windsor 6 Belle River 1
Looking around the room before the game, the kids looked like a bunch of Koala Bears fresh from a eucalyptus feast.
We were in Belle River, in their barn and things were looking bleak. After a weekend of being crowned Champs of the Early Bird and two tough practices during the week, the kids looked tired. The first period proved that. As with any winning team though, you find a way to win. Period 2 found a return to Jr Spits Hockey, our recipe for success. The kids hit the gas and didn't let off. When the final horn sounded - Windsor was victorious to the tune of 6 to 1. The kids left the arena once again, with their heads held high. On to the next!
