St. Thomas Game #3
1st Period and Windsor starts strong.We are driving the net hard but arent able to get one past the Goalie.The kids are playing great but at 3:40
Cambridge sneaks one past Brook. A minute later Langer bangs one past the Cambridge goalie! Tie game 1-1 at the end of the 1st 2nd period and Windsor is still charging hard. The Windsor forward line break through and Alec scores to make the game 2-1 Windsor.
Windsor is controlling the puck in the Cambridge end when Aiden Geng gets it and fires a cannon into the net from blue line ! Cambridge not happy with Windsor momentum manages to break through and get their 2nd goal at the 1:40 mark.
3rd period is a big battle with the teams going back and forth. Neither team is giving up. Around the 6 min mark Chase blocks a hard shot from the point but it it gets past his shin pad. Coach Machan has to help him off the ice.
Alec fresh from a line change joins the play in the Cambridge end and manages to bang another one in, 4-2 Windsor! Cambridge not giving up gets one more in the net at 3:30 left in the game.The game is now 4-3 Windsor and it getting even more intense ! Windsor keeps the pressure on and has the puck in the Cambridge end for the remaing couple minutes to win the game !
Great job Windsor for the hard fought win !
