Game 3 - Baby steps forward
Game 3 saw the Jr. Spitfires faceoff against the Tecumseh-Shoreline Eagles again.   Although the the result was a 5-1 loss there were more positive aspects of the game to take away and learn from again.

Game 3 saw Colin Williams go between the pipes for the entire game.  One thing the score does not show is that it could have been much higher than it was if it were not for his effort and key saves.  This game also saw some changes to the forward line up as well.  As we work through identifying which players work well together and which positions they perform optimally for the good of the entire team there will be a learning curve for both.

Tecumseh is a big team and use their bodies well to win  battles and protect the puck.  As we continue to work on skill development in practices we are confident our skating and stick handling will over come their size.  We get another crack at them on the 25th of September before not seeing them again for awhile. When we meet them again in November we won't be the team they remember from September.
