The Windsor Jr Spitfires travelled to LaSalle on the last day of January 2016. Windsor and LaSalle have been pretty close competitors this season. This game would prove to be very exciting. Windsor again will be short 2 players.

Jan 30th, 2016. Windsor has a few sick kids for this one and are playing with 13 players. Belle River has beaten Windsor once this season but we don’t want that to happen again.

On January 24th, 2016, The Windsor Jr Spitfires rematch the Tecumseh Eagles. Last time out Windsor won 6-3 and were hoping to repeat yesterday’s performance.

On January 23, 2016 The Windsor Jr. Spitfires went into the home rink of the Tecumseh Eagles to battle in their 3rd round robin game. Windsor was battling the flu bug as one of their centermen was out ill and more battled the bug during the game.

On January 22, 2016 the Windsor Jr. Spits travelled the 401 to Chatham, Ontario Canada to take on the Kent Cobras. Kent was 1-1 in the round robin series, splitting a game a piece with LaSalle. Windsor had played one game and came away with a tie. We were ready to roll after a long drive!! Thankfully the weather provided us with a safe and dry ride to the home town of the Cobras.

In an exciting, very high scoring game Windsor played. It was a back and forth battle. Riverside moved the puck very well and Windsor’s Muxlow had 5 goals Miller had 1. This was a tough game for our guys but one that should definitely benefit us for the rest of the play downs.  

In the opening game of the Play Down Round Robin the Windsor Jr Spits took on the rugged and skilled LaSalle Sabres.
